It’s a new year, and I felt like it was time for a new look and a fresh start at regular blogging.  A lot has changed in my life over the last year – I left my job, got married, and moved to Canada!  I figure now is a good time to change things up and since I’m not working for a few months, I might as well try to dedicate more time to my art and my website.

The layout is actually the same, I just updated the graphics a bit.  The pattern is actually a hand-drawn pattern I created by throwing together a bunch of things I love.  Cats, bunnies, honey, ray guns, dragon flies, etc.   It took a bit of work, but I managed to make it tile-able.

I think it turned out pretty well, and since some of my friends liked the design I’m also offering it on Spoonflower.com as a fabric (or wallpaper or wrapping paper) in several different colorways and a couple sizes.

If you’re interested, you can find my design gallery here:

Interested in making your own repeating pattern? Check out this tutorial.  If you have photoshop it makes the process a lot easier.

Anyhoo, I’ve got tons of arts and craft projects I’ve been plugging away at over the last few months which I’ll be posting on – hopefully – a weekly basis.  I’m shooting for updates every Friday, so I hope to see you back again on Friday!
